Well at long last I think Spring has finally arrived here in the beautiful Colorado Springs (well we are not actually counting that as tomorrow's forecast calls for a good chance of snow).
Anyhow as spring arrives our first kindergardener is nearing the end of school well actually she is 2 days shy of it being over - thus this morning was spent at "Track Day!"
There was shoe kicking, and 100m dash (which Kyra won - like mother like daughter) and there was buddy boards and relays, and tennis ball throwing , long jumping, the running long jump and jump roping and last of all we had the "RACE OF CHAMPIONS!!!!!" the kids were split up according to class and boys and girls and Kyra won and even passed boys that had started before her !!!!!!! Yeah Kyra, and all the while - while Kyra was busy being awesome we had Carter being a well as one boy put it a crybaby. but it was fun and my first Kindergardner is now a 1st grader wow they do grow fast. That was too cool. You go Kyra. I couln't believe that that was Kadence (the sounflower girl). They are both growing up. Carter probably wanted to be out running as well. He'll have his turn. Dang! I have cute grandkids!!
